From the CDR Search page, a user can view call detail records for specific date/time ranges using Quick range or specific dates using Search range, export CDRs for these date/time ranges for Inbound (origination ) or Outbound (termination) calls or download SIP trace files for a specific CDRs.
Key Terminology
Quick range - This date/time filter provides several preset date/time ranges for filtering CDR search results.
Search range - This date/time filter provides the ability to select a specific start and end date range for filtering CDR search results .
Connection - CDR searches must be filtered by a specific connection. The user must select the connection for filtering CDR search results from the drop-down list.
Data Warehouse - The location of the CDR repository (data warehouse) must be selected from the drop-down list. For enterprise customers with Peeredge Orchestrators only deployed in the United States, the data warehouse location is in Dallas.
ANI - Optionally, the search results can be pre-filtered by the ANI (calling party name).
Dialed Number - Optionally, the search results can be pre-filtered by the DNIS (called party name).
Call Direction - CDR searches must be filter by the call direction. Select Inbound for PSTN originated calls or select Outbound for customer originated calls.
Reset - Select the Reset button to clear all filter criteria.
Search - After selecting your CDR search filter criteria, click the Search button to initiate the search.
Search Results - The first 500 CDRs that match the search filter criteria will be displayed in the search results area.
Search... - This field provide a basic text filter across most fields presented in the search results area.
Export - The export button can be used to create a CSV file with all CDRs that match the search filter criteria. Provide a name for the CSV file and click the Export data button. It may take a few minutes to several hours to generate the CSV file depending on how many CDRs are matched. The CSV file can be downloaded from the Reporting menu's CDR Export tab.
ANI - The calling party name from the CDR. The call start time will be displayed below the ANI.
DNIS - The called party name from the CDR.
SIP Code - The final SIP response code to the last SIP request transaction associated with the call. For example, a SIP code of 200 would typically be the final SIP response code for a SIP Bye request (to end the call).
CAUSE - The reason phrase associated with the SIP response code.
DURATION - The call duration is seconds.
CONNECTION - The connection (trunk group) associated with the CDR.
COST - The cost of the call.
PDD - The Post Dial Delay for the call.
Trace - Select Trace will download the SIP messages between the customer IP PBX or SBC and the Peeredge Orchestrator associated with the CDR.
Rows per page: By default, only 10 CDRs are presented at a time, select the drop-down to select a different value. Click on the > button to view the next page of results.
