A relationship is a grouping of related objects that collectivity defines the capabilities and attributes associated with a customer or a vendor (PSTN provider).

A customer relationship includes metadata (name, address, POC, etc.) as well as Termination Customer and Origination Customer Trunk Groups plus Balances, Invoices, Agents, and E911 numbers. Rate Decks, Route Plans, and Triggers can also be associated with specific customer relationships. 

A vendor relationship includes metadata (name, address, POC, etc.) as well as Termination Vendor and Origination Vendor Trunk Groups and their Balances, Invoices, and Agents. Rate Decks, Route Plans, and Triggers can also be associated with specific vendor relationships.
