Origination Route Plans contain the filters, routing rules, phone numbers, and number forwarding features that can be assigned to origination customer trunk groups for calls that are routed to the customer.
To add a new origination route plan, click the + Add Route Plan in the Origination section of the Relationship's Routing page.
To edit an existing origination route plan, left click the horizontal ellipsis at the far right of the route plan to be edited in the Origination section of the Relationship's Routing menu and click on Edit.
To assign a origination route plan to a trunk group, left click the horizontal ellipsis at the far right of the route plan to be edited in the Origination section of the Relationship's Routing menu and click on Edit.
To run an route simulation against an origination route plan, left click the horizontal ellipsis at the far right of the route plan in the Origination section of the Relationship's Routing menu and click on Route Simulator.
Select the desired Origination Trunk Group in the Orig TG * drop-down menu. Then enter the ANI and DNIS in the respective fields and finally click on the Simulate button.
The result will provide information about the ANI, DNS, and LRN (if applicable) as well as pertinent routing information.
- If the DNIS is not in the Origination Route Plan's Numbering table, a 404 Not Found will be the result.
To delete an origination route plan, left click the horizontal ellipsis at the far right of the route plan to be deleted in the Origination section of the Relationship's Routing menu and click on Delete. If the route plan is associated to one or more trunk groups than it cannot be deleted.
Click the Delete Route Plan button to confirm the deletion.
