Key terms

Filter Media - When enabled, the SIP Invite to the Customer’s network device(s) includes only the selected (checked) codecs if those same codecs are listed in the inbound SIP Invite. If not enabled, all the codecs from the inbound SIP Invite will be the outbound SIP Invite.

Anchor Media - When enabled, the RTP/SRTP media terminate on an Orchestrator’s Media Server. The IP Address listed in the c: line of the SDP becomes the Media Server’s IP address. If the Origination Customer Trunk Group is configured for Anchor Media, but the inbound  (i.e. the Origination Vendor) Trunk Group is not configured for Anchor Media, then XXX.

Enable Dynamic Transcoding - When enabled, the Media Server can provide transcoding when the Inbound and Outbound Call Legs do not support a mutual codec. Generally, transcoding is rarely performed as almost all vendors and customers offer and support G.711ulaw, G.711alaw, or the G.729 codecs.

Enable Secure RTP - When checked XXX.

Enable DTLS Support - When checked XXX.
