The PeerEdge Orchestrator supports four trunk group types based on a combination of two variable sets: termination/origination and vendor/customer. Different rate deck types are associated with each trunk group type.
Termination Customer
A truck group that processes incoming SIP messages sent from a customer. In turn, the SIP messages are forwarded to a vendor via a Termination Vendor trunk group. The following rate decks are supported:
US & Canada Jurisdictional
US & Canada Peering
US & Canada Toll Free
International EEA
US & Canada Local
International Dialed
Termination Vendor
A truck group that processes the outbound SIP messages sent to a vendor. The SIP messages were received on a Termination Customer trunk group. The following rate decks are supported:
US & Canada Jurisdictional
US & Canada Peering
US & Canada Toll Free
International EEA
US & Canada Local
International Dialed
Origination Vendor
A trunk group that processes inbound SIP messages received from a vendor. The SIP messages are forwarded to a customer via an Origination Customer trunk group. The following rate decks are supported:
US & Canada DID
US & Canada Toll Free
International DID
International Toll Free
Origination Customer
A trunk group that processes SIP messages sent to a customer. The SIP messages were received on an Origination Vendor trunk group. The following rate decks are supported:
